About these terms

These terms apply when you use yourlittlesong.com or order a song from Your Little Song (“we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. If you have a question, write to us at hello@yourlittlesong.com.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that the details you give us are accurate.

What you are buying

A personalised digital song made from the words and details you give us, along with any extras you choose, such as a lyric video or a memory film. What each option includes and costs is shown on our pricing page. Everything is delivered digitally, and nothing is posted to you.

How songs are made

Songs are AI-assisted. The words, music and singing voice are made with AI tools, guided by what you tell us. Voices are not recordings of real singers. Because each song is generated, it may not match any example on the site, and a song may by chance sound similar to other music.

Previews and payment

You can read the words and hear a free preview before you pay. Prices are shown in pounds and are one-off: there is no subscription.

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record and the reseller of our products. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, handles any sales tax and issues your receipt, and its own terms also apply to your purchase.

Delivery

Your full song is normally available straight away after payment. Occasionally it can take longer. If there is a problem we cannot fix, we will refund you.

Changes, refunds and cancelling

You get one free round of changes after you buy, and you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your purchase. See our refunds page for how this works.

Your song is digital and made personally for you, so we start work and deliver it as soon as you pay. By ordering, you ask us to do that, and you accept that any legal right to cancel within 14 days ends once delivery begins. Our 7-day refund promise still applies, and nothing in these terms affects your legal rights if a song is faulty or not as described.

Using your song

Once you have paid, you may keep, play and share your song for personal use, including with family and friends and at weddings, parties and services. You may post it on your own personal social media.

Please do not use it commercially without our written permission. That includes selling it, releasing it on streaming services, registering it with a content ID or music rights service, or using it to promote a business.

Your words and photos

You keep ownership of what you give us. You allow us, and the providers who help us, to use it only as needed to make, deliver and support your order. We will not use your song or your story in our marketing unless you give us permission.

What we ask of you

• Only give us words, photos and personal details that you have the right to share.
• Do not ask for anything that is hateful, harassing, sexual, threatening, unlawful or untrue about a real person.
• Do not ask us to copy an existing song or imitate a real artist.
• Do not try to disrupt the site, or misuse it or its AI tools.

We may refuse or stop any request that breaks these rules. If you have already paid for it, we will refund you unless the request was unlawful or abusive.

Gift pages

Each song comes with a private gift page that anyone with the link can open, so share the link with care. Please keep your own copy of your MP3 too: we aim to keep gift pages available, but we cannot promise they will stay online forever. If we ever plan to close the service, we will try to give you notice so that you can save your song.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Otherwise, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for business losses, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. The site is provided for personal use and may sometimes be unavailable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top will show when. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protections of the law where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.
